Terms of sale

Last updated: 24 July 2026

Draft — requires legal review. This page was drafted from the site brief and public regulatory sources, not reviewed by counsel. Do not treat it as final until a qualified lawyer has signed off.

1. Scope

These terms govern quotes and sales issued by Avionix Lab (a unit of Proserv Property Services Private Limited)("Avionix Lab") for used serviceable material, new-surplus and new parts, and related services. Prices are never published on this site — every listing is quoted individually against a Request for Quote, and a quote is not binding until confirmed in writing by both parties.

2. Condition codes

Every part we offer is labeled with one of the following condition codes. The code on your quote and shipping documentation is the authoritative statement of condition — not the listing description alone.

NENew
Unused, in original manufacturer condition.
NSNew Surplus
Unused but not from current production — surplus stock.
OHOverhauled
Overhauled to manufacturer or approved-facility standards; released accordingly.
SVServiceable
Serviceable — inspected and confirmed fit for installation, not necessarily overhauled.
RPRepaired
Repaired to correct a specific defect, released for continued service.
ARAs Removed
As removed from an aircraft/engine — condition not yet re-certified; sold with disclosed status.
INInspected
Inspected — visually and/or functionally checked; scope of inspection stated on the listing or quote.
SCScrap / Teardown Only
Scrap / non-certified — for teardown, spares recovery or non-flight use only. Never represented as airworthy.

3. Traceability & documentation

Release documentation (FAA 8130-3, EASA Form 1, dual release, or other applicable tag) accompanies every serviceable, overhauled or repaired part as stated on the quote. Parts sold as SC (scrap/non-certified) carry no airworthiness release and must not be installed on an aircraft. See Quality & Compliance for how we handle traceability and release documentation in detail.

4. Warranty

We warrant that each part conforms to the condition and documentation stated on its quote and shipping paperwork at the time of shipment. Beyond that conformance warranty, parts are sold as-is — standard industry practice for used serviceable material. Any additional warranty (e.g. a time/cycle warranty on an overhauled rotable) is only binding if stated explicitly on the written quote.

5. Payment & delivery

Payment terms, currency and Incoterm are agreed per quote. TODO(client/legal): confirm standard payment terms (e.g. advance/LC/net terms) and default Incoterm to state here as the fallback when a quote doesn't specify one.

6. Export compliance

Parts flagged as export-controlled require end-use and end-user information before a quote is issued, and shipment is subject to applicable export control and denied-party screening. See our Export Compliance policy.

7. Returns & quality escapes

If a part doesn't match its stated condition or documentation, see the quality escape process on the Quality & Compliance page. Outside of a confirmed quality escape, sales are final — flagged for counsel to confirm this position and any required consumer-facing exceptions.

8. Governing law

TODO(legal): confirm governing law and dispute forum. Given our Gurugram, Haryana headquarters, the default assumption is Indian law with courts at Gurugram — this has not been confirmed by counsel and international sales may warrant an arbitration clause instead.

9. Trademarks

"Avionix Lab®" and the Avionix Lab logo are registered trademarks of Avionix Lab (a unit of Proserv Property Services Private Limited). No license or right to use these marks is granted except with our prior written consent.
