Privacy policy

1. Who we are

This policy covers Avionix Lab (a unit of Proserv Property Services Private Limited), headquartered at Gurugram, Haryana, India("Avionix Lab," "we," "us"). We source and trade used serviceable material for airlines, MROs, lessors and part-out operators, and this site lets you request quotes, report an aircraft-on-ground need, or offer surplus material for sale.

Applicable law.As an Indian entity, we process personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Where a visitor is located in the European Economic Area or UK, the GDPR / UK GDPR also applies to our processing of their data. This is a global B2B site; we have not scoped this policy to any other specific jurisdiction — flagged for counsel to confirm whether additional jurisdictions need express treatment.

2. What we collect

We collect what you give us directly through our forms:

• Request a quote (/rfq): name, company, role, email, phone, country, ship-to address, required-by date, incoterm preference, and the part numbers/conditions/ quantities you list.
• AOG requests (/aog): aircraft tail/ registration, station, part number, contact name and phone, and email if provided.
• Sell / consign (/sell):name, company, email, phone, material location, a description of what you're offering, and any inventory file you upload.

We also automatically collect standard web request data (IP address, approximate location, browser/device information) for security purposes — spam and abuse prevention (Cloudflare Turnstile) and rate-limiting. We use Vercel Analytics, which does not use tracking cookies and does not build cross-site advertising profiles. We do not run third-party advertising tags or a tag manager on this site.

3. Why we process it

• To respond to your quote request, AOG report, or supply lead.
• To verify export-compliance requirements before quoting export-controlled items.
• To detect and prevent spam, fraud and abuse of our forms.
• To maintain business records of enquiries and transactions.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors to run the site and respond to you:

• Resend — delivers the emails your submission triggers.
• Cloudflare (Turnstile) — spam/bot verification on our forms.
• Vercel — hosting and privacy-preserving analytics.
• Twilio(AOG requests only, where configured) — sends an SMS alert to our desk; your submitted details, not your personal contact list, are what's transmitted.

Some of these processors operate outside India. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the processor's standard contractual safeguards. Flagged for counsel to confirm this is sufficient under the DPDP Act's cross-border transfer provisions once they are notified in full.

5. How long we keep it

We retain enquiry and transaction data for as long as needed to respond to you and to meet our business record-keeping obligations. TODO(client/legal): confirm a specific retention period — commercial and tax record-keeping norms in India typically call for several years for transaction-related records; we have not fixed an exact figure here pending that confirmation.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you can request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and can raise a grievance with us directly. If GDPR/UK GDPR applies to you, you additionally have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability.
